Together Willemien and Wicklewood celebrated International Women’s Day 2021 by launching an exclusive collection of paintings and prints. Willemien was inspired by modern Mexican and Guatemalan art, from Carlos Meridas to Frida Kahlo. These iconic influences, intertwined with traditional South American costume and textile, inspired the graceful and magical female figures in her collection.
